Wednesday May 9th we will show ‘900 Days’. 900 Days is a documentary by Jessica Gorter, whose other documentary ‘Red Soul’ we’ve seen last month. 900 Days is about the blockade on Leningrad during World War II from the perspective of the survivors. The documentary will start at 20:00 and will end around 22:00. There will be snacks served. The location of the movie will be revealed later.
Thursday May 17th Dr. Tijmen Pronk will give a lecture on the history, identity and orthography of the Croatian language. For the lovers of Glagolitic among us, it will definitely be mentioned, so come join us if you’d like to know more! The lecture will start at 20:00 in Lipsius 208.
Friday May 25th we will have a little trip to the Dutch Kremlin in Winkel! There we will have a tour by the creator Ger Leegwater. We will leave Leiden with a minibus. This trip will be a lot of fun, but it can only take place if the weather allows it and if enough MOST-members join us. The cost of this trip will be about €10 (for the tour and for the bus). Please send us an email before the 15th of May if you’d like to join!
