Since 1996, MOST has been the study association for students of Russian Studies in Leiden, both for Bachelor students and students of the English-language MA Russian and Eurasian studies. MOST stands for мы объединяем студентов (My Obedinyaem STudentov); like a bridge we connect students from a fascinating region, with an interest in either language, or politics, literature, history, economics, or just about anything!

Every month we organize numerous activities with themes related not only to Russia but certainly to the other former Soviet republics, such as Ukraine and Belarus, as well as the countries of the Caucasus and Central Asia. Our activities range from interesting lectures on contemporary politics to get-togethers and vodka nights. We also hold a Christmas dinner every year, watch movies together, and go on an annual study tour with a large group. And there is so much more!
