Review: Pegasus
Our partnership with publishing house Pegasus brought us to their store in central Amsterdam on the afternoon of November 7th. We were greeted with an explanation and a short tour, after which we were able to browse the books at our leisure with drinks in hand. Afterwards, we took home our free book, which we had already selected, and many also picked up some other purchases, both large and small. If you weren't able to attend the visit, you can still pick up your free book for a year at their beautiful store in Amsterdam!

Old masters from Kyiv in The Hague
Abraham Bredius toured Eastern Europe in 1897 and met the collector couple Bohdan (1849-1917) and Varvara Khanenko (1852-1922). "With the exhibition Old Masters from Kyiv in The Hague, we want to show that Bredius and Bohdan and Varvara Khanenko shared a passion for the same European art," says curator Willem Jan Hoogsteder. "Two years after that meeting, the first peace conference took place in The Hague. And now, more than 125 years later, we can show exceptional paintings from war zones in the city of Peace and Justice."
Together with the Art History student association (LKV), we'll be heading to The Hague on December 3rd for a unique tour of the Khanenko exhibition led by one of their professors. The start time will be announced via WhatsApp; a ticket for the museum costs €5 if you bring your student card.
